     I am a life long educator.  I saw this in an embracing manner in that my family has been in educationn since WWII.  I have taught in the same district that my gandfather taught, mother and uncles graduated from, Father's siblings taught in, and met my wife through.  Being married to an educator and surrounded by educators, the philosophy of educaction is always being discussed.  I took on the journey of a School Leadership Resident at HTH in order to gain knowledge from another, albeit "expert", example. Through this experience, I realized how special HTH is and wanted to be at a place like it.  I wanted to be in a place that had good people everywhere, excitemenet and energy to spare, deep meaningful learning, and somewhere that I would want to send my two boys.  I found this in Animas High School.  Animas has given me the chance to grow as a leader while bringing my experiences to help Animas grow.

 

     I have two sons, 2 and 4, who drive my "education justice" mission.  They are the inspiration and joy of every day.  My wife and I enjoy playing with them, taking them out on walks (even in the snow), reading to them, and cooking with them.  This site is a peek into the experiences that I have had as well as the growth thorugh which my experiences have provided.
